Summary

The tala are 16 individual 32-bit ARM (armhf/armhfp) nodes in a Calxeda Highbank 2U chassis.

The nodes are running the latest firmware we've been able to locate.  Calxeda is no longer a company so support and documentation are pretty much non-existent.</description>

Summary

These are the new teuthology testnodes originally intended to replace the smithi machines.  They were purchased by IBM in 2025.  Originally, over 300 were planned but due to budget constraints, the number was reduced to 200 and we kept the smithi machines to supplement.</description>
