===== Summary =====
The DHCP daemon is currently running on [[hardware:infrastructure#store_01_02_frontsepiacephcom|store01.front.sepia.ceph.com]] primarily because it used to be the main infra host.

There's nothing special about the setup.  It serves the front and ipmi VLANs.

To move the service to another host, IT can change the "DHCP helper" option for the VLANs at the switch level.

As of April 2018, the configuration files are managed by the [[https://github.com/ceph/ceph-cm-ansible/tree/master/roles/dhcp-server|dhcp-server role]].
